Our lives take place among greenery. And although it is often unnoticed and underestimated, the role it plays in our everyday life is really significant. Urban greenery can be found in many different forms - impressive parks, squares, green areas, ornamental flowerbeds, green walls and kitchen gardens. In addition, containers and plant pots make it possible to introduce greenery into small spaces, such as terraces and balconies , and into the interiors of companies, offices, shopping centres and other public buildings. Greenery is an element that enhances the aesthetic and functional value of any space, which is why its absence is sometimes so acute.
The design of urban greenery brings together many disciplines, such as urban planning, urban planning, horticulture and landscape architecture, and therefore requires a great deal of knowledge, care and commitment. The idea, the method of combining plants, forms, materials and colours in such a way that the designed space becomes not only original and functional, but, most importantly, attractive to residents and visitors.
All the activities of the designers aim to transform the monotonous urban space into a green, original and functional space. Therefore, urban greenery must be created thoughtfully and carefully, as it is introduced into the public space used by residents and tourists.
Indeed,green design is nothing more than a process whose essence is to create friendly places in harmony with the existing surroundings.
