Wood substitutes

Wood-based plastic materials

Eco board

An innovative material made from post-industrial recycled plastic (HDPE/PE/PP/PA/PVC). This plastic is an excellent substitute for wood if you are looking for anenvironmentally friendly product. It can be recycled again and a new product of a different shape can be obtained.

The use of Eco board in urban furniture products allows for durability and a long product life. Maintenance-free operation without troublesome and costly maintenance. In biologically active environments (forest, park, gardens), it is resistant to decay, decay, microbes, insects.

The use of recycled plastics reduces the need for virgin material. By recycling plastic waste, we contribute to environmental protection. The material is non-toxic and does not interact chemically with organic matter. During use, it remains neatly intact and colour-changeable for years.

The manufacturer stipulates that the material may vary slightly from how it looks in colour in photographs or renderings.

Key product benefits include:

  • the use of recycled plastic reduces the need for virgin material which makes a significant contribution to environmental protection
  • durable and long product life
  • resistance to rot, cracks, decay, microbes and insects
  • resistance to atmospheric conditions such as wilt, UV radiation and temperature fluctuations.

High pressure laminate

The plastic laminates in our range are used as a replacement for wooden elements. The use of HPL requires structural changes to the furniture. Their advantage is extreme resistance to weathering. They are less susceptible to sunlight, wind and moisture than wood.HPL is a flame-retardant material. With the right technology, laminates retain their original appearance for longer.

Woodgrain HPL

Duroplastic pressure laminate (HPL) complies with EN 438-6 type EDF. The laminate is highly resistant to ageing, thanks to a layer of double-cured acrylic-polyurethane resins. It is a flame-retardant material.

HPL boards are mainly used in outdoor furniture. Below is an application of the laminate in a carport - smoking room, tables and garden furniture from the Bus series.
